The Minimum Percentage Match defines the confidence threshold required for a valid face match in Verifyfaces. This setting defines the minimum confidence score required before a match is generated and displayed in the system.

By default, the threshold is set to 75%, meaning only matches with a confidence score greater than 75% will be considered valid. This default strikes a balance between accuracy and match frequency for most environments.

Adjusting the Threshold

This setting can be adjusted based on your operational needs.

• Higher Thresholds
  Increase the confidence percentage to apply stricter matching criteria. This reduces false positives and is ideal for high security environments.

• Lower Thresholds
  Decrease the confidence percentage to allow more potential matches. This can be useful for broader monitoring scenarios where identifying possible matches is preferred over strict precision.
