Creating and Assigning Cameras to Zones

Introduction

Zone management in Verifyfaces is a crucial feature that allows you to organise your surveillance strategy effectively. By creating zones, you can focus monitoring and analysis on specific areas of your premises, enhancing both security and business intelligence.

• Zone Creation: To create a new zone, navigate to the 'Zones' section in the System Menu. Here, you can define a zone by giving it a relevant name that reflects its location or purpose, such as 'Main Entrance', 'Loading Dock', or 'Retail Floor'.
  
  
  
• Assigning Cameras: After creating a zone, the next step is to assign cameras to it. You will need to go back to your Cameras and open each camera's settings. From there, simply select the zone that's relevant to that camera, then click 'Save camera settings'. This step ensures that all activity within this zone is monitored and analysed as a cohesive unit.
